There are 3 different routes from the North Pennines AONB Visitor Centre at Bowlees. Each of the 3 have different characters which gives you great options for your Tramper session.
Above you can see the route which takes you up the farm track from the centre and gives wonderful views over the Teesdale valley. There is a route into the Bowlees Quarry, a special invertebrate site which is home to an abundance of wildflowers. Below you can see Low Force, the third route takes you down to the river Tees with lovely views of the waterfall.
You can choose your preferred route or you can complete all three in the day.
There is a great café at the Visitor Centre for when you are have completed your session!!
This is very useful information. Havr they been added to what was Miles Without Styles or is there another list?
